Scholarships & College Opportunities

At Accl Speed Athletics Academy, we help students pursue both artistic and athletic excellence, and connect them to funding opportunities for college. While the academy does not issue high school diplomas, all students complete a comprehensive academic program and a proctored exit exam that verifies mastery of high school–level coursework. This ensures students meet requirements for college admission and athletic eligibility when paired with a recognized high school credential or equivalent.

Academy Scholarships

  • Extraordinary Ability Scholarship – Up to $8,000
For students demonstrating exceptional talent and serious financial need. This is the academy’s own scholarship.

Additional Funding Opportunities

We also provide information about external scholarships that students may pursue:

  • Academy of Art University Pre-College Scholarship – Up to $4,000
Open to U.S. citizens completing pre-college art courses through the academy (or any public school program). Available since Fall 2025. Academy of Art Pre-College Catalog
  • Taco Bell and McDonald’s Scholarships – Up to $5,000 and $2,500 respectively
Students can apply directly if eligible; these are external scholarships.

Athletic Eligibility Guidance

Students interested in college athletics can compete at NJCAA or NCAA levels with proper preparation:

  • Students must maintain amateur status, be enrolled full-time, and meet course and GPA requirements.
  • Our transcripts and proctored exit exams provide verifiable academic records for recruiting purposes.
  • We guide students on core courses, transcripts, and eligibility verification, helping them meet NCAA Division I and II or NJCAA standards.
Tip for parents: Even without a diploma from the academy, your student’s combination of external high school credential, academy coursework, and exit exam results ensures their academic record can support college admission and athletic participation.

Notes for Families:

  • Our Extraordinary Ability Scholarship and the Academy of Art Pre-College Scholarship (active since 2025) are the only programs directly supported or facilitated by ACCl Speed Athletics Academy.
  • Other scholarships are external funding opportunities; we provide this information to help families explore financial support.
  • Students may combine Academy of Art pre-college courses with ACCl Speed Athletics Academy programs or public school courses to enrich learning.
  • The Academy of Art facilitation was originally a student-centered solution to provide opportunities that public schools did not offer.
